Over 16,000 people show up to celebrate Irvine’s cultural diversity at Bill Barber Park, adjacent to the Irvine Civic Center. This family focused event provides hands-on arts and crafts, games, and even an interactive Kids Village. Come enjoy our family friendly Back to School event! Kids of all ages are welcome! We will be handing out free school supplies to jump start the approaching school year, as well as having snacks, face painting, and a jumper. There will even be a DJ to keep the tunes flowing and keep the kids hopping (in the jumper). Hope to see you there!

In honor of this auspicious day, I am wearing my Lucky Irish Drinking Socks! My friend actually brought them back for me after her trip to Ireland last year and I’m excited to finally get a chance to wear them! It’s crazy that only recently (as recent as 2000) did St. Patrick’s day join the ranks of other highly commercialized holidays, such as Valentine’s day.
